WOFAK procured 401 bicycles from World Bicycle Relief and received an additional 100 bicycles as donations from World Bicycle Relief with the support of Amref Health Africa In Kenya. The 401 bicycles were meant for the CHVs currently in the Global Fund NFM, Pilot program, while the additional 100 bicycles were to be decided by the Sub county on how they would be distributed. Mentioning that the CHC and the trained mechanics would be part of those who received bicycles. The WOFAK Executive director encouraged the CHVs to reach more households with services now that they had bicycles and hit a target of up to 35,000 Households. She also mentioned the capacity building activities that the program has done so far to establish new CUs and that through the partnership with Amref health Africa In Kenya and World Bicycle relief to get the 401 bicycles and an additional 100 for the CHCs.
