Advocacy seeks to ensure that all people in society are able to: have their voice heard on issues that are important to them, protect and promote their rights.
When it comes to advocacy, WOFAK advocates for meaningful engagement of PLHIV communities. We advocate for access to HIV treatment, property inheritance rights for women, Sexual reproductive health rights, and Women involvement in leadership.
We participate in advocacy forums and workshops to contribute to better legislation in matters of health and HIV e.g. Coalition of Access to Medicine, The WHO Consolidated Guideline on the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women living with HIV
